CRID ACHIEVES FIRST MOSQUITO TRANSCRIPTOME SEQUENCING

Few days after sequencing the first mosquito genome on the continent, #CRID is proud to announce another milestone: the first total transcriptome (#RNAseq) sequencing of #mosquito species. Using our newly deployed high-throughput sequencing technology (#Novaseq6000), the run not only met but surpassed #Illumina’s quality and yield benchmarks, demonstrating the platform’s robustness for advanced #RNA applications. This achievement unlocks powerful new opportunities to explore mosquito gene expression, vector biology, and phenotype–genotype relationships. CRID is now fully equipped to offer state-of-the-art #transcriptomic analysis services to the #research community. Contact us at sequencing@crid-cam.net or +237 686 837 665 to book your sequencing slot
